2. Get Ready But Don't Learn By Heart

If you learn a speech by heart you will get nervous the moment you can't remember a word. Instead think about your travel plans. Know your reasons, like Why are you going on this trip? Why now?. Your How like How will you pay for it? How will you get back? If you know the facts you can answer any question easily even if its asked in a way.

5. Listen Carefully Answer

Anxiety makes people talk a lot to fill quiet moments.

  • Wait for the question and do not interrupt the CO.

6. Accept That You Might Get Rejected

A lot of the time we get really nervous because we are scared of hearing someone say no to us. If you think about it you might not get what you want. That is okay. It does not mean you are a person. When you think about it this way you will probably feel less stressed out. If you do not really need to hear someone say yes you will seem confident and calm when you talk to them which is actually a good thing. It can even help you get a result. You will seem confident and relaxed when you talk to people about something you want and that can make a big difference. Accept that rejection is possible and you will be more relaxed and people will like that about you.

7. Confidence Comes from Clarity

Speak clearly. Look people in the eye. If you did not catch a question it is fine to say, "I’m sorry could you please repeat that?" Being honest about needing clarification shows confidence than guessing an answer.

  • You show confidence when you speak clearly and look people, in the eye.

  • Confidence comes from being clear.
